TENNIS COURT RECONSTRUCTION FOR PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACE

PART 1 – GENERAL
1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and
Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 specification sections apply to the
work of this section.
1.2 SUMMARY
A. Under this section, the Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment
and labor necessary to finish coat over an asphalt pavement tennis court as
shown on the Drawings and as directed by the Owner’s Representative.
1.3 SUBMITTALS AA. Submit manufacturer’s product data for
materials to be used for sealer and manufacturer’s recommend specifications,
including but not limited to sand, emulsion and equipment.
PART 2 – PRODUCTS
2.1 MATERIALS
A. Action Pave Acrylic Crack and Leveling Binder Patch
B. Action Pave Acrylic Resurfacer
C. Action Pave Acrylic Color Filler
D. Action Pave Acrylic Color Finish
E. Action Pave Acrylic Line Paint
PART 3 – EXECUTION
3.1 GENERAL
A. Surface shall be cleaned prior to application of finish coats.
B. Acrylic color and texture systems shall be applied to clean, dry pavement in
conformance with manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations.
C. Standard: The finished surface shall have no depressions or ridges exceeding
one eighth (1/8) inch in ten (10) feet. Shim low spots and fill cracks with
acrylic crack and leveling binder patch.
D. Apply one coat of acrylic resurfacer.
E. Apply one coat of acrylic color filler.
F. Apply one coat of acrylic color finish.

H. Hand tape and mark courts with acrylic line paint 2” wide.
